The Summer 2016 class chose to work with Squirrel Refuge. The class met at a release site in Boring, Oregon to complete the following tasks:
-Build release boxes
-Hang release boxes on trees
-Release squirrels
-Feed newly born squirrels, raccoons and opossums
-Prepare field (removal of noxious weeds) for future deer release
Squirrel Refuge is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) committed to providing wildlife rehabilitation, education, sanctuary, and humane treatment of squirrels and other wildlife animals (birds, bunnies, opossums, deer, raccoon).
