Brazil has the fifth largest population in the world, and is one of the most diverse countries in the world. It has the eighth largest economy, but a country of unequal economy. The top 10% of the richest people of Brazil earn 50% of the nations income. Brazil has one of the highest crime rates in the world, and also has one of the highest populations living in poverty.
They created a "game" for their people, Warriors without Weapons. It is an organization that helps fix up the community. The game is called the Oasis Game: 150 people are invited to a community center that opens with dance and takes you through the movements that will connect us with one another (community feelings). The following days the group will design how they envision their community, which helps create a culture of caring for the planet and community. They work as a community to be able to brainstorm more ideas. This brings us back to our idea that the class came up with about "many hands make lighter work" because we are stronger together, stronger as a community.
