About Me
I am a mother of two children, a student, a nerd, a gamer, and a Girl Scout Leader. I love adventuring to find new and interesting rocks to smash (geology) and curling up with a good book. I love watching My Little Ponies and Game of Thrones. I found Girl Scouts when looking for after school activities for my daughter. With that, I found a way to become a better person and make the world a better place.
About Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts (Girl Guides as they're called in the UK and elsewhere) were started by girls who wanted to do Boy Scouts very much soon after the Boy Scouts started in 1909. In the USA on March 12, 1912, Girl Scouts was born from its founder Juliette Low, a great force for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the World.
Girl Scouts had an African American woman president and started environmental action in the 70s. Girl Scouts has the largest Girl Run business in the world with girls from all walks of life learning how to earn money and spend it wisely. They run a program for incarcerated women and their daughters called Girl Scouts Beyond Bars that lowers the amount of recidivism for participants.

What I Do: Troop Leader
I lead a troop of about 16 girls. We hike, camp, explore, and help other people. This fall, we hope to go to Camp Arrowhead and make First Aid Kits for the Homeless.
What I Do: SU Product Manager
I run the Girl Scout Cookie Program for all of West Portland (Mult Co). I have just under 600 girls across over 40 troops.
