Summer 2017 class project:
Students of the summer 2017 class chose to link up with the PSU Student Sustainability Center Bee Task Force and Community Garden. The Student Sustainability Center works with students across all fields of PSU to enhance and enrich their community through its gardens, apiary, waste reduction, sustainable leadership, social media, and eco solutions for campus residents. The SSC has little funding and programs do not typically run during the summer for students to continue to work on their projects, such as the development of their 5-year old Orchard. The SSC Bee Task Force works in partner with the Garden Task Force to make the space more attractive and productive as a good forest guild.
