IMPORTANCE OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
Effective Communication is more than just the exchange of information, its about understanding the emotions and message behind the info. Being able to effectively communicate means being able to clearly convey your message and being able to listen to understand the FULL message and meaning behind what is being said to you.Effective Communication also means listening in a way that makes the other person feel heard and understood.
We feel that Effective Communication is arguably the most important skill in life as it allows us to....
Form and Build Relationships
Learn and Grow

- First: It is The Key to Successful Project Management:
- In all elements of work life, the most common complaint about an organization is ‘lack of effective communication’.
- Projects often ‘fail’ because we simply fail to clearly articulate the vision and the project’s success criteria. This vision must be successfully communicated to each stakeholder and team member. The whole team should be able to visualize the end result, in order to work towards a common goal.

- Second: Enables respect in the workplace:
- Encouraging mutual respect will help to:
- Reduce workplace stress, conflict and problems.
- Increase productivity, knowledge and understanding
- Respect in the workplace is vital, and is the essence of having effective communication that is required to make projects succeed.
- Encouraging mutual respect will help to:
- Third: It Is The essence of Nonviolent Communication:
- abbreviated NVC, also called Compassionate Communication or Collaborative Communication
- developed by Marshall Rosenberg beginning in the 1960s.
- developed by Marshall Rosenberg beginning in the 1960s.
- Based on the assumption that all human beings have capacity for compassion and empathy and that people only resort to violence or behavior harmful to others when they do not recognize more effective strategies for meeting
- Nonviolent Communication holds that most conflicts between individuals or groups arise from miscommunication about their human needs, due to coercive or manipulative language that aims to induce fear, guilt, shame, etc. These "violent" modes of communication, when used during a conflict, divert the attention of the participants away from clarifying their needs, their feelings, their perceptions, and their requests, thus perpetuating the conflict.

B. The prefrontal cortex within the cerebral cortex and the executive functions
- The prefrontal cortex makes up over 10% of the volume of the brain, and thus is involved in many functions—. however, that the prefrontal cortex is probably best known for: executive function.
- executive functions focus on controlling short-sighted, reflexive behaviors to take part in things like planning, decision-making, problem-solving, self-control, and acting with long-term goals in mind.
- They are higher-level cognitive processes that people tend to display greater proficiency in than other animals—thus you could argue they are some of the functions that truly help to make human cognition unique.
- Patients who suffer damage confined to the prefrontal cortex often display normal movement, sensory perception, and even intelligence. But they frequently experience deficits in executive functions, along with personality changes, abnormalities in emotional responses, and general difficulty functioning and communicating with others in their daily lives.

C. THE development of the prefrontal cortex and executive functions
- The figure to the right is a conceptual model arguing that early cognitive stimulation shapes EF and PFC development.
- It proposes that cognitive stimulation drives lower-level sensory and perceptual processes that may impact EF and PFC development through reciprocal connections between the ventral visual stream and PFC.
- The main conclusion: treat children the right way or they would grow up being incapable of communicating normally or controlling their actions.
