Next Steps:
- Work together (and with NICE Consulting) to finalize the business plan
- Select a board (of 3-15 people)
- Register as a business with the state as a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation
- Get an IRS EIN number through irs.gov - can get this once the business is formalized
- Open a business bank account
- Apply for 501(c)(3) status - can take 6-9 months to be approved
