Spectrum of servicesCommunity-Based provides a range of services in the community for people with, or at risk for, mental health. Our community-based services are designed for people who can live in the community with intensive services and supports.
Acute our acute programs provide a stable, therapeutic, and safe inpatient environment for individuals experiencing severe mental health symptoms. Crisis we provide a range of crisis treatment services to help people experiencing mental health emergencies. Sub-Acute provides a longer-term care programs which are supportive, structured, and safe inpatient environments designed to help individuals prepare for a move into the community and/or lower levels of care. Residential our program provides alternatives for individuals with mental health who would otherwise be placed in higher levels of care, such as state hospitals and institutions for Mental Disease. |
Mental health mythsOur community thrives on breaking down walls that causes stigma. Many of the myths surrounding mental health consists of mental health problems are caused by the person and are not true illnesses. People with mental health never get better.
People with mental health problems are violent and unpredictable. Personality weakness or character flaws cause mental health problems. People with mental health problems can snap out of it if they try hard enough. I cannot do anything for a person with a mental health problem. A person’s cultural background is unimportant in understanding their mental health. It is our goal to educate others in breaking these barriers. |
